A Heroes Welcome at Woodland School

Heroes Welcome at Woodland SchoolWow! We were given such a terrific surprise at Woodland School in Warren, New Jersey this afternoon. All of the teachers, students, staff, and even the principal dressed in their favorite super hero T-shirts, Capes, and even head bands.  After our assembly, the school mascot, Woody, ran through the gymnasium wearing his red Cape! What a special treat!

The students, teachers, and staff at Woodland School definitely know how to Wear The Cape! They created a bulletin board in the main hallway with our Cape, which they plan to fill with pictures of students who show kindness. Children cheered as they were leaving the assembly, and promised to Wear the Cape and promote kindness. Thank you, Woodland!

Toms River Schools Know How to Be Better Than That

Wear the cape kids Pinebeach and Beachwood Schools, in Tom’s River, New Jersey School District are filled with heroes. It was a pleasure to visit both schools today to present our Hero Assembly to over 1,000 students.

We were graciously received by all staff and students. Everyone, in all grades, promised to be Better Than That! We were thrilled to end our assembly at Pinebeach School with the students and staff chanting, “Wear The Cape! Wear The Cape!”

Thank you, heroes, for understanding the importance of Wearing the Cape and being Better Than That!

Central School Heroes

We had a fantastic day presenting our assembly at Central School, in our hometown of Warren, New Jersey. We were thrilled to see how quickly the students and teachers were using our “Stop and Think” strategy during our assembly.

This assembly was a special treat for us and for Central school as one of their third graders is featured in our assembly videos. Great job, Chase!

It was so amazing to hear all of the students and teachers cheering after our videos were shown. One first grader pulled us aside after the show to tell us that he wants to Wear The Cape every day.

We are in awe of the difference we are making in the lives of young children. We are humbled by the wonderful feedback we are receiving from schools, teachers, parents, and students regarding our assembly. We thank all of you.
